We have different activities that run through out the year

In this ministry we strongly believe that that the great commission was for all believers including women. Women also received the blessing that came with the great commission because they are also followers of Jesus Christ. In our ministry we empower each woman by making her realize how great and blessed she is as a child of God. Women are taught to identify who they are before they can fully function in other areas of their lives including their homes as it is not possible to serve others when you are not sure who you are in Christ and individually. Women are taught to preach and share the word of God with their peers and thus contributing to the ministry as a whole.

Because of this understanding of who they are, the women’s ministry embarked on a challenging project which they have called The Bathsheba Project. The name of the project comes from the biblical story of Bathsheba who was a happily married woman whom the king summoned and slept with her resulting in her being pregnant. Once the king had committed this atrocity, he went on to ensure her husband died in battle leaving Bathsheba widowed, pregnant, isolated and depressed- a feeling shared by many single women in our community. The most  inspiring part of the story is her ability to come out of her situation stronger resulting in her being the mother of the wisest king to ever live on earth. From that line of kings, was born the King of All Kings and Lord or all Lords, Jesus Christ who did not conquer nations but conquered death and today He lives and is seated on the right hand side of the Father.

The Bathsheba Project is about empowerment of the female species aiming to mobilize and connect single mothers in Leeds to come out of isolation and into the community and become the change they desire in their lives. Through strategic partnerships with individuals and faith & community-based organizations, Project Bathsheba aims to create opportunities to strengthen and enhance the quality of life for single mothers and their families. We aim to make single mothers feel cared for and loved and that they can fit in the community and be productive.

To ensure we meet these objectives, we aim to empower single mothers to start dreaming about their future and help them to pursue their new found dreams and passions by;

  • Helping and single mothers to come out of state benefits by gathering and providing them with necessary information to show them there is another way.
  • Bringing out hidden gifts and talents to assist each one with something they naturally possess;
  • Educating single mothers by classifying and creating opportunities to further advance their tertiary education;
  • Engaging with them and building stronger relationships and also carrying out  advocacy work to influence, change and create policy on a local level that will help enhance their lives.
  • Encouragement to pursue healthier lifestyles for themselves and their families
  • Equipping single mothers with information, tools and access to people and opportunities to help them accomplish their personal and professional goals; and
  • Enhancing the perspectives of single mothers to understand that through focused-efforts and hard work they can live the life they have always imagined.

We believe no single mother is a single mother by choice and sometimes the world can be too bleak but Bathsheba is there to shed a ray of hope. There is a great king deep within each one of you!

Keise(Joyous) Kids Club

Not only are children tomorrow’s leaders , but they are also tomorrow’s church and as God instructed Moses concerning his word in Deut:11 18-19, Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up’. The instruction is clear, to teach them about an inheritance more precious than gold and more valuable than anything they can have.

The children at NCD Ministries are blessed as we teach them the basic foundation of the Christian faith in terms they understand. We are sure they will grow to be vigilant doers of the word and not just hearers of it. If disease can be passed from generation to generation bringing death and calamity in families what more the word of God? In Jeremiah 23;29-30 he declares ‘“Is not my word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?. Whatever it is, the word of God will begin to purge with fire the evil of this world from our children at an early age and hammer ungodliness out of them, raising great leaders and an even greater church.

The Keise Kids Club aims at developing Children's skills and talents by dancing, singing and druming. The goal is to reach out to other Children in the community, bringing them together to improve their broken lives.
